Welcome to my eFolio site and thank you for taking the time to look. My name is Grace Webb and I am a young journalist with concentrations in print and radio journalism. I graduated in May 2013 from Minnesota State University, Mankato with degrees in both Mass Media (with a focus in journalism) and Spanish.

From Nov. 2013 to Nov. 2014, I worked as the city reporter for the Northfield News, the newspaper for Northfield, Minnesota, as well as for its sister paper, the Lonsdale News Review. In November 2014, I accepted a new position as editor of Connect Business, a magazine located outside of Mankato.

My goal is to become an experienced professional journalist, hopefully in the political arena. I've already obtained great experience working at my hometown newspaper, my college newspaper, Mankato's city paper and Northfield News, in addition to acting as news director for KMSU Radio. I think understanding law is extremely important when it comes to reporting on politics, so I am planning on going to law school in the future. I hope to work in Washington D.C. or overseas.

My education is very important to me, which is why I chose Minnesota State University Mankato and, more specifically, its Honors Program. MSU has a strong mass communications department, and the Honors Program provides an intimate, thought-provoking way to explore important themes such as globalization, research, and leadership. I hope to grow and learn both inside and outside the classroom, becoming not only a student who knows how to learn but also a life-long learner.
