Welcome to my eFolio site and thank you for taking the time to look. My name is Grace Webb and I am a young journalist with concentrations in print and radio journalism. I recently graduated in May 2013 from Minnesota State University, Mankato with degrees in both Mass Media (with a focus in journalism) and Spanish. I now work for the Northfield News, located in Northfield, MN, as the city and public safety reporter.

My goal is to become  a professional journalist, hopefully in the political arena. I've already obtained great experience working at my hometown newspaper, my college newspaper, and Mankato's city paper, in addition to acting as news director for KMSU Radio. I think understanding law is extremely important when it comes to reporting on politics, so I am planning on going to law school after I graduate. I hope to work in Washington D.C.

My education is very important to me, which is why I chose Minnesota State University Mankato and, more specifically, its Honors Program. MSU has a strong mass communications department, and the Honors Program provides an intimate, thought-provoking way to explore important themes such as globalization, research, and leadership. Now that my time at MSU is complete, I plan on returning to school to earn a degree in law. I hope to grow and learn both inside and outside the classroom, becoming not only a student who knows how to learn but also a life-long learner.
